G. Nelson Crowe III

Managing Partner

Nelson Crowe brings over 20 years of real estate experience, having co-led the development of more than 16,000 multifamily units totaling $3.5 billion in capitalization. Prior to founding Crowe Capital, he launched and led the multifamily platform at Endeavor Real Estate Group, Central Texas’ largest full-service real estate firm. Earlier in his career, he founded the multifamily division at Forestar Group (NYSE: FOR) and worked at Crow Holdings. Nelson’s leadership spans project sourcing, development, construction management, and investment strategy across multiple high-growth markets.

Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Rausch Companies

John Rausch is a seasoned real estate leader with a strong track record in homebuilding, land development, and diversified investment. He was Co-Founder, Chairman, and CEO of Rausch Coleman Homes, growing it to become the nation’s third-largest privately held homebuilder before its sale to Lennar in 2025. Today, through Rausch Companies, John continues to lead ventures across residential, multifamily, land development, and energy sectors, bringing a values-driven approach to every project.

Sean Luther

Director of Investments

Sean Luther is Director of Investments, responsible for sourcing new developments and acquisitions while leading the Dallas-Fort Worth market. Prior to joining Missio Capital, he worked for Hines managing development and asset management of multifamily, office, and mixed-use projects totaling $1.0B in capitalization. Sean started his career at Goldman Sachs in the real estate financing group, where he specialized in CMBS lending across multiple product types.

Cole Turner

Director of Construction

Cole Turner brings over 7 years of real estate experience, having overseen the construction of more than 4,500 multifamily units totaling $650 million in construction costs. Prior to joining Missio Capital, he led the Quality Control/Owner’s Representative multifamily platform at Endeavor Real Estate Group, Central Texas’ largest full-service real estate firm. Earlier in his career, he worked at Pulte Homes, Asset Living, and Dinerstein, starting as a leasing agent and rising to property manager. Cole brings experience in construction and property management across multiple high-growth markets.

Scott Peters 

EVP of Finance & Accounting/CFO

Scott Peters is Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer at Rausch Companies, overseeing all financial operations and reporting across the organization. Since joining the leadership team in 2020, he has helped guide the company through significant growth, ensuring sound fiscal management and strategic financial planning. Scott brings decades of finance leadership, including senior roles at Tyson Foods, where he managed accounting operations and directed company-wide strategic initiatives.

Josh Carson

​EVP & General Counsel

Josh Carson serves as Executive Vice President and General Counsel at Rausch Companies, where he oversees all legal matters including corporate compliance, contracts, and major transactions. Since joining the company in 2018, Josh has played a key role in guiding complex legal negotiations, including the acquisition of Rausch Coleman Homes by Lennar. He is also the co-founder of EnergyWorks, an oil and gas exploration company established in 2007. Prior to his current role, Josh was a partner at a private practice in Fort Smith, Arkansas, advising local and international clients on real estate and construction banking matters.
